#10	Alex September 24 at 11:45am Very nice. I'd love to do the pracise with them in the park. Don't get enough cross country running where I am. The only thing is that I almost always take 1 minute recovery jogs all year round no matter what. I'm never willing to go over 2 minutes recovery. It has made me stronger and better able to deal with middle distance and distance running since I was a sprinter. Good luck PC. reply
#9	Justin Kopunek September 24 at 11:35am That may be the most American Providence team I have seen; 5 girls from NY, 1 from CT and 1 from Ireland. They get Emily Lipari and/or one of the FM seniors and they could have quite the NY team at NCAA's in 2010. reply

Providence College - Season 4, Episode #2

Workout Wednesday is back....but we brought it to you on Thursday ;)

Head coach Ray Treacy has led the Providence College women's cross country team to the NCAA Championships for an unbelievable 20 consecutive years, longer than any other women's program in the country. After losing last years NCAA 10k Champ, Danette Doetzel, PC is comprised of a large group of underclassmen (or is it underclasswomen??). The team reminds Ray of his young 1990 squad that went on to place 2nd at NCAAs. The team will be aiming for number 21 this year and looking forward to big things in the coming years. PC will race at Notre Dame on Friday, October 2nd.

Workout:

-4x 5 minutes, followed by 2x 2 minutes

(2:30 recovery between all)
