It does sound a little like old Dorian U. Especially since they are also both midwest fellas with Rob being from Ohio and Dorian from IL.

4th at NC's, 3rd at Olympic Trials...sounds very similar to Dorian Ulrey.

Goober--not sure if you really know what you are speaking of here...
Webb is a really nice guy. A little (well, a lot) goofy...but a nice dude.

Rob sounds like a good guy, and having a great time in Europe this year. The more you hear the insights of most of the other US middle distance and distance guys, the more you appreciate the contrast between them and someone like Webb.

Don't be envious of THE Ohio State University, chump.
Just remember when you hear all of these other schools saying "THE" now a days...
THE Ohio State University is often duplicated, but NEVER replicated.
GO BUCKS.

Well, technically you wouldn't use "The" in an acronym

I hate it when OSU uses THE Ohio State University (note: NOT "TOSU"). It's so arrogant.

Get to know Rob Myers

July 20, 2009
You've seen Rob Myers race, you've seen his interviews. But we thought it would be good to hear more about how he started running and what he did through his high school years. Rob has made three US World Championship teams....2004 Indoors (US 1500 Champ), 2005 Outdoors in Helsinki, and 2008 Indoors in Valencia. Rob was also 3rd at the 2004 Olympic Trials and has PRs of 3:34 for 1500 and 3:53 for the mile.

Rob will be running the 800 tomorrow in Gent and will be aiming to break his PR of 1:47.01. Flotrack will race videos and interviews from Gent tomorrow evening. (Rob will also run the mile at London on Saturday.)

We'll have more "Get to Know" interviews over the next few days.
