While it was great to see Nick win his bronze medal, I believe he could possibly have done even better had he adopted better race tactics in that 1500 metre final.
The former great runner John Walker recently commented that Nick needs to improve his tactics, in that he needs to maintain better contact with that leading bunch of runners, so as to be in a position to go with any breakaway runners, as was that case in that final.
Also, it's often argued that if a runner has as much left in his as Nick obviously did over the last half of that race, then that energy could have been better extended more evenly over the whole race distance.
ok, that solves another mystery... at around 8 min he says something about "..taking those shoes", and then corrects himself "...filling those shoes". So does NW know something about the stealing of Rod Dixon's shoes at the 1978 Commonwealth Games?
Great race. Really great semi, too. Very savvy running. I was rooting for you all the way, once the Americans were out. If the Americans were in, I would have been divided, probably still root for you. Also really nice interview.
he should pull a lagat since he lives and trains in the US (I know that probably wont happen) , but i was cheering for him just as hard as I would cheer for someone with US colors

willis just keeps on rolling, like the race he ran.

fabulous run - you make your country and the legacy of
lovelock, halberg, and snell PROUD.
You're a good sport too taking all those pics with them.
what other athlete from another country is so accepted by the US (even if he does live in America)? I always forget he's from NZ
