#8	Joe Mama August 26, 2008 at 8:48pm The reason no one mentions Warhurst is because most of the guys that run well at Michigan are already good when they get there. If anything, Ron does do a great job recruiting. He has never taken a kid who was a 4:19 miler in high school and made him world class (See Bob Parks and Paul McMullen). He is still a great coach and a great program at U of M. reply

Warhurst has had a lot of success over the years, but I dont see his name mentioned all that often with many of the other very successful college coaches around - such as Wetmore, Jerry, Vig, Byrne, and the like. It should be. Warhurst is a phenomenal coach. reply

Michigan Coach Ron Warhurst has 3 guys in the men's 1500m with Sully, Willis, and Brannen. Pretty cool, as long as they don't knock each other out of the final.
