#6	Eeeee November 9 at 4:28pm yeah, ashley is from illinois. bloomington to be exact. i ran with/against her all throughout high school and now that we're at separate universities she is honestly one of the reasons i come to MY practice everyday ready to get down to work. she's a phenomenal athlete and such a competitor, it's cool to see all her hard work pay off. reply

Ashley Verplank came to UNC as a mid-distance runner that ran cross country. After battling through some growing pains of freshman year, she is back as a sophomore and has shown herself along with the ACC that she got more for cross than just using it to get in shape for track. Recently finishing 8th at the ACC Championships, Ashley looks to help UNC get back to the national championships in Terre Haute and will do so this weekend at the Southeast Regional in Louisville.
