- See Less -Even though he was a seven-time All-American at the University of Wisconsin, Matt Tegenkamp never could put together a full year of consistent training or he might have been a NCAA champ multiple times. Only one year after he graduated from Wisconsin, Tegenkamp rose to the top of US distance running. After years of battling injuries, the 2006 season was a dream season for Tegenkamp as he was finally able to put in consistent training. Persistent dedication combined with lessons learned during the Wisconsin years paid off big time in 2006; Tegenkamp opened eyes not only stateside, but all over the globe. After his 13:04 for the 5,000m in Stockholm, Tegenkamp can almost taste a sub-13 minute 5,000m. He also achieved his best 3,000m finish with a 7:34?..all of these during the summer of 2006.
RACE VID!
YAH I"M BEATING KENYANS"
...tool trying to make Teg look made.
more like
"Yeat, yah"
an affirmative vs a statement. makes all the difference
Best part is when she says something along the lines of... "you are American so you think there are no limits therefore you will be going for a medal correct?" Is that not somewhat racist? lol.
YAH I"M BEATING KENYANS
Ryan missed Matt but thanks to the Flotrack network we still get to hear from Matt after this race.
Flotrack rocks!
Some stars n' stripes numbskull thought Ryan's interview with Chamney was a waste b/c he wasn't 'Merican....This interview proves the worth of the global running network...even to xenophobes like MickeyB who finally gets to hear from Matt.
Thanks. Good interview!
