Miam... Miam....
If she went to Washington it would be crazy, NCAA championships for the next 3-4 years? Interesting though that Christine Bab has done so well at Washington but it seems like Laurynne Chetelat (both who were right with Hasay in the 3200 at Arcadia and the state meet) didn't do as well (of course, it's just one year and it will be great to see what she can do this track season and next year).
Look at Chad Hall, he hated Oregon and transferred to UC Riverside, where they treat him like an actual human. Oregon and Nike aren't concerned with the runners and just use their money to monopolize the running market.
Curse the company for putting on such a fantastic National Meet
Curse the company for putting so much money into our sport
Curse the company that funds so many of our favorite athletes
We should all be thanking Nike for giving so much money to our schools and athletes...BUUUUUUUUUUUT we don't.
And nike basically grew out of the university, there should be no question of links between the two because there is really nothing wrong with it.
it is the same kind of thing as when an nba player goes and invests alot of money into his old high school program and that draws alot of the top players to go there and then other people have a problem with that saying they are getting unfair advantages.
Goodluck on your decision Jordan, your top 3 choices are all very solid and I am sure you will do amazing at any of them.
I do agree with you that I hope she doesn't go to Oregon but it's not for that reason.
Um, Dunbar didn't get much money offered, but I'm guessing that the scholarship situation will be different for men vs. women.
