He did indeed run 1:53, but I believe it was the 9th grade. He was probably one of the best runners in the world for his age (if not ther best) at the time. he also ran 3:54 for the 1500m at the Ontario finals (runner up was 4:14!), it was real tight one. Interestingly his time was faster than the senior boys winner! (grade 13 at the time)........yes, he was a phenom. I also watched him break 4 mins. for the mile in high school.

We caught up with Kevin Sullivan during the fall while he was on his downtime. Sully is hoping to have a consistent year of racing in 2009 and be up there with the best in the world once again. He opens up at the Boston Indoor Games (BIG) tomorrow.
