- See Less -Kevin Sullivan is one of the best athletes to ever come out of Canada. His talent was apparent early in life when he ran a 1:53 in the 8th grade. When Sullivan got to high school his times came down even faster; before he graduated he ran a sub-four minute mile and 3:39 for the 1500. Sullivan went south of the Canadian border for college and enrolled at the University of Michigan. As a Wolverine, Sullivan dominated the NCAA; he racked up 14 All-American honors and won four NCAA titles (one relay and three individual). After college, Sullivan?s success continued and he continued to set records. As a professional, Sullivan has competed in two Olympics (2000 in Sydney and 2004 in Athens). In 2000 he finished 5th in the 1500. Sullivan also holds the record for the 1500 in Canada with a time of 3:31.71. Sullivan plans to compete until at least the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
