Wow, going from barely making it across the line to state champion, congratulations Reed Connor and congratulations Coach Dan Green on an amazing career!
seems like that whole race was kind of stupid. kids went out WAAAy too fast in an all out sprint for the first portion and slowly died untilt hey were all crawling. then after crawlign for a while they had a sprint at the end. looked like some bad pacing.
ok...it was hot and windy...i ran that course three times and ran well...those condidtions sucked!!! look at old times...look at 04...conditions were perfect, and anyone who says conditions dont matter is an idiot...oh by the way the girl who won 2a ia autistic...so great job to her, i met her 2 years ago and its amazing to see what her coaches and running have done for her.
Only 8 guys broke 16:00...not really that fast of a course...considering Lowe ran 8:59 and 4:09 in the same day last year and CJ ran 4:12 as a sophmore...honeslty, are you that insecure about yourself.?

I watched that state meet for the first time and I don't know if anyone knew but ya'll were in the presence of the kid from Del Rio who has Cerebral palsy, MS, and is legally blind. They've done a couple stories on him but he runs for my dad and Del RIo. Also, everyone did an awesome job, I was like, in awe. haha! It's kind of scary to see people pass out though, I don't know who it was but it might have been the guy ya'll were discussing who couldn't even use his legs, and they were like dragging him off. That scared me. :[
Reed Connor passed out 50m from the finish line due to dehydration. He was in 5th place but crawled to the finish line and finished 34th, if he would have simply quit The Woodlands would have lost. Reed was taken to the local hospital and give 4 liters of fluids by IV and is recovering just fine.
SERIOUSLY: WHERE ARE THEY???
