Men's Open Race : Speakers & Interviews

German is the man! Ive been doing cross country for two years now and i head for my state meet at noon. This guy has motivated me to run and shows me that high schoolers can do some amazing things!

This video is my first look at German. I never thought I'd see Rich Kimball's CA State Meet record broken, but now I can see why it happened. Kimball eventually flamed. I hope that German will not and that his development is intelligent and patient. What an amazing runner!

German Fernandez... I can see that kid ruling NCAA distance running with an iron fist by the time his senior year rolls around. He was so in control of that race. Kudos. Awesome to watch.

German is just ridiculous! He looked so smooth and comfortable out there. Easily had a gear or two left in him. Great Job German and everybody

how can you say that he could have challenged chelenga when sam ran alone from the gun. he wasn't pushed all race. fernandez couldn't hold a torch to chelenga.

Runs 23:34 and has his coach telling him to hold back in the race. Not saying he couldve touched Chelanga but still, he definately has more in him than he got to show today.
