Still have the Runners World issue with Todd on the cover, circa 1993. Pure class in my book. Gives great advice. The interviewer, however, needs a lot of help. Clearly, there should be someone interviewing these "greats" that has more command over the interview process. Or, are the standards that low now?

I'm a Jacksonville native and was at those River Runs when Todd was pummeling the competition there. The guy is absolutely revered there. My parents have met him several times through my dad's good friend Doug Alred (River Run race organizer). He's a really nice guy, too.
In college I also remember him and Tony Parilla run a workout at East Tenn State before the indoor meet there. Cool guy. I love it that he's chosen Jacksonville as one of his homes now.

Wow, I remember watching this man run when I was in HS - he was such a motivation, and still is - I feel like putting on my running shoes and going for a run after watching that. Hard work shows results, thanks for all you have done and continue to do for the running community Mr. Williams!
