I seriously doubt that Mary will be moving on to some corporate job. She took a huge pay cut to first come to NYRR. She was formally a corporate attorney. This is her passion, and it shows.

Not to mention he had to relive the scene of his marathon debut from last fall at NYC.
I agree that Mary is pretty awesome and she has done a great job while on te job at NYRR. I think pretty much the sky is the limit for her and her career, but I assume she enjoys the climate in New York and the strides she has made. Although the corporate dollar might change that at some point in the future.
Who knows she might be interested in the President of the NCAA position that was vacated with the unfortunate loss to cancer for Myles Brand. Should be interesting whoever takes over at NCAA headquarters, but would have to think they would be all over a minority stake.

See I told you Mark would be back for the NYC Marathon coverage. Hard to miss this big Flotrack coverage event. Maybe he'll give us an update as to what all he has been up to with the Florevolution lately. Happy Anniversary MarkFlo!

usatf is too deeply rooted in Nike to hire someone as unbias as Mary. Mary is very passionate about the sport and is about enhancing the sport on all levels, she would drown in the politics of usatf. Keep up the good work Mary. Your positive influence is being felt around the world! Looking forward to another great marathon.

I'm surprised they (NY marathon) have her and some big corporate head hunter hasn't snagged her away.....because she's that good (she could run IBM)!

Mary,
You should run USATF. You would do a better job than Doug Logan. You have more marketing power than he does, which is one of the Key pillars to the success of USATF

This woman has got her business on lock down. really impressive, really professional. It is no wonder that the New York Marathon is among the small list of premier marathons in the United States.

awesome interview.

How does running help a person mentally? This is wrong, it actually makes them crazier.
