Nah, the motorcycle was riding around in the outside lanes with a camera, and was more along their side not in the front.

So there is a small backstory to the pacer/rabit. He just graduated from Brookline H.S. in MA (Riley's home town) and as you can tell by the jersey (or maybe not) went with his team to NTN this past fall. He is headed to the University of Texas this coming year. The race website had mentioned they were looking for a pacer and at one point asked Eric Ashe of Hanson, MA/ Boston University (30th in Road Race/ 1st from MA), but he declined to focus on the road race. Gibson went through 600 in 1:26, and they announced that he would go anywhere from 600-800 meters, (although they had asked Ashe to go 1000-1200). I think Gibson did his job as 3 guys broke 4 (all under the old meet record of 3:57.07), but I also understand why some would wish he had gone further.
