Brad went to school in Jersey until the end of his junior year. Which explains why all of his VCP times are from his junior year. He then moved to Oregon for his senior year.

Brad won the XC NJ meet of champs my senior year, our team took second to Brad's. I just wanted to see if it was the same guy.
ps He kicked everyone's arse in that race back in '83, great runner.

Brad is a great guy. Not too long ago I remember him running 2'13 at California International, in Sac. Times goes by fast. Keep up the good job.

Congrats to Ritz and Hudson on a great job. Top 10 in the world is nothing to sneeze at. Sure it would have been great to win, but hey they represented the USA in a superb manner. That heat was no joke- look at the Kenyans and Ethiopians who dropped out. Way to go guys!

Dathan is extremely impressive but at this point in his career I don't think it's very realistic to factor OUT the influence of injury on his performance. While it is an exciting academic exercise to imagine what he could have done with 4 months of uninterrupted training, I hope coach realizes that he may well have injured himself again before they hit 4 months, especially since they ramped up the hard training SO fast.
Managing injuries (managing to avoid them) is a very important part of any coache's job and perhaps this is even more true of Dathan.
You've got four years Dathan...IF you can stay healthy you'll be a strong medal contender...don't take your health for granted.

Great job Coach! Very motivating for our young runners to know we have athletes and coaches that can compete with the best in the world.
Also, thanks for the book it is a great help

I'm really hoping Ritz stays with Hudson as a coach for a long time. Seems that Hudson definitely knows how to get the best out of him. Good luck to them both.
