Alan it was a pleasure seeing you compete in races. You are definitely a runner I look up to and will continue to look up to. Hope your business continues to do well with this economy, keep movitating and helping your wife improve, and keep fit always. Even if cycling is the next interest...

LOVE Alan - always one of my favorite runners. Sad that he wont be on the scene any more. Am sure we'll be seeing his little ones running in a few years.

Hey man good run! I am and always will be a fan. It was fun seeing you race and I really look up to your consistent career. I was glad to see you win a race in person (XC champs in Boulder). Your season stat and race strategy is very admirable. Oh It is nice to see other tall guy race fast! Long live the Pepper!

What a great guy. I remember seeing him win USA XC at the age of 34 and how no one expected it. It was great. I understand how it's hard to get pumped up about running slower. Good to hear he's doing well and not dwelling what could have been.

Classy. And the story about not being on the list for blood test. . . too funny.

Alan Culpepper touches on his career, what happened after his Olympic Trials Marathon in 2007, and things he still holds on to. He talks about what is was like watching the Olympics on at home this past year after being on the US team at the past two Olympics (2000, 2004). Alan has recently opened a store, Solepepper Sports, in Louisville, Colorado (just outside of Boulder) and is currently helping his wife Shayne as she prepares for the US Championships at the end of June.
