I didn't mean it in the sense of "bring Leo down." If anything, the fact that he could run such a great race after such a horrific 1500 is even more impressive, since that 1500 had to mess with his confidence. Or maybe it didn't mess with his confidence, and there were factors in that 1500 that weren't obvious to the viewer. We don't know. . . which is kind of my point.
Not to be a jerk or anything, but this wasn't much of an interview. What were the questions being asked? "Tell us about the race." "Oh, was that a PR?" "Did you think you would break 4 in Missouri?" I mean, it would have been nice to know what happened with Leo at the Adidas meet, and how to bounce back from that so quickly with a PR here. Just my two cents.
