Leo is a very humble person. No cockiness whatsoever. If he runs like he's been running throughout the year, plus add on the race to make the World team,he will make the final along with Webb and Lagat.I pick Leo to finish in the top 5 if it's a tactical race, simply because he has a tremendous kick.Good Luck Leo.
Because Brandon Birdsong is the future of UT distance running. Habben is pretty bad ass as well. Don't ever agree to do a 2 hour run in Austin with those guys...
What was the recovery between reps? He has three-four hard works per week. What is the rest
of his training? What other races are planned between now and Worlds?
Great news! I'll take my family out to Taylor Street this weekend to celebrate.
P.S. THE line of the trip--completely spontaneous--had to be: "Your arms are jacked."
P.P.S. A question I'd like you to ask the runners you interview: "Who were your track heroes when you first started running?" Another question: "Would you workout as hard as you do if you weren't as good as you are?"
Flotrack has people in Eugene. They helped cover several events this year. There are plans in the works for more coverage at the tail end of the summer. Stay tuned.
Now that you realize you should go to Eugene to film one of Ritz's workouts, think of what else you might be able to do there: interview Salazar; film on of Rupp's workouts. Then, on the way back, stop in Arizona and film one of Abdi's workouts--thereby getting the whole 10,000 meter team. And maybe you should stop in Colorado to film a workout by Jenny Barringer.
I agree that a Webb video would be great, but I'd also like to see what Galen Rupp has been doing to get ready for Osaka, he's been under the radar lately
MarK, great job--great camera work-7am!! ouch. These are great, get some rest-i'm mean i'd love to see something every day. But we want you around to continue this great stuff.
thats crazy ... dont they work out like every day?=
keep up the good work
of his training? What other races are planned between now and Worlds?
