Flotrack is great but I would also like to know how it sustains itself as a business.

Like you said the most important quality to work at flotrack is that you have a passion for the sport. Runners and coaches like talking to you guys because that comes through. You know their history, if they ran footlocker in high school or their split in the last lap of their race in a prelim, and they appreciate that. They know they are talking to someone that wants them to do well and cares.

So, I like how your shirt coordinates with the house in the background haha.

A suggestion: what about working with USATF grassroots division to get some funding as both parties are interested in promoting track and field? Or working with NYRR club/Mary Wittenburg. Putting those 2 heads together should come up with innovative ideas.
By the way Ryan, you are a great interviewer. People relate very well to you. Mark, sorry to say, not so much.

Maybe James; maybe i'm ignorant in this is it just Ryan and Mark, and the new guy? or is it hard to get teams/colleges to video a workout for fear of disclosing workouts and such...

I love Flotrack as it has essentially created a market for fans to be fans. Without it, I wouldn't know the stories within the races and sure wouldn't ever watch the races. Years ago, I never would of guessed that I would be able to watch the workout of a team or elite runner online. It is such a better resource than JoggersWorld magazine...but I still don't get one thing...how can this gig be profitable? The ads are so few and far between it just is a curious operation. Thanks Ryan and Mark and all the other people involved in FloTrack, this website is awesome! I'm a triathlete but i do love running and the updates and video coverages of all the races and interviews you guys do are fantastic. Watching the workout wednesdays really helps motivate me get in a good workout and I also learn alot by watching some of the best runners around.

I have two more semesters of school and if you are still expanding by that time, I would love to travel and film or write for Flotrack. I hope to coach my own team one day and being a part of Flotrack would give me tons of much needed experience. Keep up the great work.

I would work for Flotrack in a heart beat... too bad I have 4 years of school left. But Flotrack is great, keep it up guys.

If someone wished to contribute how would one go about it(small amount monthly)? I have no life, but I have been be lucky to have a pretty good career. It took some perseverance and luck but I am at the happiest point of by life. I was 33 when started my career after 7 yrs in the military and four yrs of college. I was never good runner but alway dabbled in it, I continue to run but I especially love being a fan and being able to watch our college, elite, and up coming HS phenoms run competitively. FLOTRACK ALLOWS ME TO DO THAT! THANKS...MARK, RYAN, AND CREW.....I love what you...thanks!
