Wow! Feel so guilty. I'm probably out of the demographics of this group. I must confess, I stole the AAU Banner at the '65 AAU Championships (AAU was the fore-runner of USATF) in San Diego. I took it back to Ariz State and hung in my dorm the rest of my years! I still have it in the garage someplace .... will gladly donate to FloTrack in partial thanks for the great interviews & coverage. You do terriific job for the sport!
I'll give you my copy of Brian Mcknight's debut album, but thats it.
Take it or leave it. I have the inside scoop on you anyway...the people of Eugene are looking out.
so this is what myspace does when they look like clowns drinking a beer and doing an interview...if you thought they sunk down too low in that piece, think again....
by any chance was this banner black, and did it say flocast.org on it, and was it connected to a piece of crap van by two pieces of rope that were easily sliced by the fine blade of a handy pocket knife. i may or may not know the where abouts of this treasure you seek. and i may be willing to help you with this unfortunate predicament. if you ever want to see your banner alive and well again, you will meet these demands.1) two yaks of ripe and fertile age. 2) brian mcknights debut album(i get lonely). 3) a life size picture of bernard lagat(like i said i get lonely).4) a hand written letter from mark stating runnerspaces superiority over flocast. you have til the dawn of the first of august to meet these demands, or i will post a video of your precious banner illuminating the field of hayward with flames of dispair. remember the early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Who would hate flotack except the people on letsrun.com, but they hate everything that is better than they are... therefore it could have been some sort of creature with claws and teeth the size of a fish.
No one would steal the banner of a crappy website. As much as you it may pain you to hear this, I would take it as a compliment that someone took the time to take it home and show it off to their friends.
Kudos on the awesome website; people obviously love it. Keep up the work guys!
I think it's kind of like the banners at any ncaa event, half the athletes that see them, know they're going to attempt to steal them for....posterity's sake.
