That's an old and well-worn question Jesse. The only guy I would bet on for the correct answer would be Doug Todd, the meet director. I've heard everything from 2.89 to 3.00. I tend to lean a little toward the shorter end of the spectrum but they have made some minor changes along the way. Not really up on them.
I read in the SLO paper that she wasn't doing hill work until recently because of a minor tendon problem. That would indicate why the 2nd-5th place runners made up some distance on her up and down the switchback. At 2-miles there was only a 4 second spread. By Reservoir Hill she was cranking pretty hard again. Most of the race looked very normal except for the big hill. Excellent run for her second run of this season (first big race).
