At the end of May Trey Hardee competed in his first dec of the year and not being "sharp", the results were pretty good. Trey scored 8516 which is only 18 points off his lifetime best and only 6 points off the best mark in the world this year. Last year Trey finished the year with the #3 mark but unfortunately didn't finish the dec at the Olympics. This year his goal is to get on the US team and go for it in Berlin. But he'll have to face 2008 US and Olympic Champ, Bryan Clay.
