Bio:	Russell was a nine time All-American while at Stanford. In his freshman year, he qualified for the 2004 World Junior Track and Field Championships for the 1,500m. In his freshman year, he qualified for the 2004 World Junior Track and Field Championships for the 1,500m. He would go on to anchor the NCAA Champion Distance Medley team for Stanford, place second in the NCAA Indoor Mile, and take 3rd in the NCAA 1,500m Outdoors. Running for OTC Elite in the summer of 2009, Russell set PRs of 3:37.32 and 3:57.54 with wins in Gent and Brasschaat.
