W DMR H01 Event 58 : Speakers & Interviews

Alicia went down in the first leg and got spiked on the side of the head. Still photos showed she was bleeding badly for the rest of her laps but still kept Stanford in it. Looked like Centro ran the anchor and held third place. You're right, she's a beast! Stanford girls, PAC-10 champs 9 years running in XC, National Champs in December.

Bowman really had a top-notch weekend. Shame 3 runner-ups but man she really competed. Left it all on the track.

The Main Announcer said "Nicole Edwards" at least three times and the flotrack guys never figured it out. We love ya, but....JEEEEZ!

I agree, Usually the Flotrack announcers seem to know everything, but this time...what??? This was a rematch of the NCAA indoor DMR where Bowman caught Edwards at the tape in a great race by both people. This time it was Edwards that got the sweet revenge....this was a headliner event. Great race BLUE and not a shabby performance Vols.

Good grief. I usually stick up for the Flo track announcers but this was poor. How could you not even MENTION Nicole Edward's name throughout the entire race? How could you not know of her? And what about Danielle Tauro's leg-she isn't exactly an unknown? Right from the beginning the announcer "predicted" Tennessee. And it was all Sarah Boman, until oops. . .

Not sure who's anchoring for Michigan?! Ummmm It's Nicole Edwards, who was 2ND at NCAA indoors AHEAD OF Bowman.
