Go to Shannon's website. Shannonrowbury.com

Click on the link to her race schedule and results page then scroll down to August 2008 (the results are in chronologic order). There is a link to a video of the olympic finals there

I'm sorry, there is a misunderstanding. Of course I knew that there was a 1500m final for women in the Olympics. I didn't notice, however, during the Olympics that an American woman had made it to the finals. That is what I was unaware of.

Oh, and for the record, I'm 23.

I agree. How old are you Dan to not know about the women's 1500 meter final exsisting? Just curious. I'm 23 and thought every runner knew that.

Great Interview   May 13 at 7:42am
Can I just say that the way you guys get these athletes to relax and talk about what makes them tick is great. This site out interviews the networks any time. When has anyone ever seen an athlete be so relaxed and comfortable when when talking to Bob Costas or someone like that. I think the fact that you're just regular guys who know and love the sport and can relate on a personal level to what these athletes are going through gives you the edge. Keep it up.

Oh, an Go Shannon! Sounds like you've got a good plan working there.

1.8 seconds off of the medal stand.

As embarrassing as it is, I have to admit that I was not aware until very recently that an American woman made it into the finals, let alone competed, in the 1500 finals at Beijing. When I watched a recorded video of the final I was SO impressed (and like any male runner...I may have fallen in love just a bit). Either way, I am definitely onboard for supporting Shannon. Ridiculous talent, and being Flotrack-friendly is always a plus.

I'm reading her name right off her bib in the Olympic Trials, Rowbury, which is the way I've always spelled it.
Well gentlemen, which is it?
