Paris Breakfast with Shannon
July 17, 2009
Its the morning of the Paris Golden League Meeting and its time to eat breakfast! I met up with Shannon Rowbury and she took me through the breakfast line. Some meets have some interesting choices, but Paris was relatively standard. I have yet to find a meet with good eggs, but there is still hope. Alistar and Solinsky also joined us for a bite.
Shannon races the 800 tonight while Alistair and Solinsky will be doing the 3k.

Did the eggs do in Vessey?
Provence is the southeastern most region of France. It borders on Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. In stark contrast to traditional French cuisine, Provencal food is decidedly Mediterranean, featuring many Italian and even middle eastern ingredients like olive oil and chickpeas as well as incorporating local seafoods.
I would hope that an elite athlete eats good. If you think that is a lot of protein you probally have a protein defieciency and you would get a boost to your running performance. I just had to comment. It seemed interesting that you said that. I eat a lot of protein. For breakfast a cup of oatmeal and a cut of milk is 20 grams of protein, whoah, watch out! Don't forget the oranges and some almond butter to go with the toast. I am just messing with you but anyway, good breakfast choice in paris.
those mediterranian tomatoes looked so good
And those eggs are atrocious!
