If drawing upon the great running history of Boston is not enough to inspire you Megan, you can draw upon the great medical & research history so nearby too! reply

#13	Camille March 29, 2008 at 9:57pm "Soft Chick Qual Standard 2:48 is a 2:33 for men" No, 2:48:00 is 2:22:01 for a man (according to the Mercier calculator), so the men's standard is softer (and actually the women's standard is now 2:47:00). Hardcore! Hope I get to meet Megan at the Trials!! reply

Megan Daly

Megan Daly is doing her residency in radiation oncology at Stanford University. She took up marathoning as an undergraduate at Stanford and earned her trials qualifier at the 2006 Chicago Marathon. In this interview she talks about staying motivated while working 12-14 hours a day and the role running plays in her life as a medical doctor.
