Riadha fan, thanks for the info. An earlier poster clued us in and like Jeff said, we were on a time crunch and taking our best guess given the info we had (which was very little). I have checked out the club's site and it looks great, similar mission in my mind to the Kimbia group. Also I do not know where either of us said erson for the last name, but if we misspoke I apologize.

Come on guys.You got something right and that is Riadha is "athletics" which means track and field. But you got the rest wrong. Riadha is not Westchester it is its own team based in the in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area check out the website at Riadha.org. We are a self supporting club with humanitarian interests and the head coach is Isaya Okwiya, MD and you will be hearing and more important seeing more of us in the years to come. Oh, fellas, Delilah's last name is not erson.

No worries. Riadha and WTC are on friendly terms. The coach of Riadha is Isaya Okwiya who is doing a tremendous job helping both American and foreign post-collegiate runners. By the way, thanks to you guys at Flotrack for all of your great coverage of these meets! You are awesome.

Thanks for the information. We had to come up with info on the fly and from a quick blackberry search, we found out that Mike Barnow was a contact for this team. Since I know Mike and know he has had a long lasting relationship with WTC, we assumed there was a connection between the two but didn't say that it was the same team. I see now that the website lists Mike and the WTC under "Key Supporters, Friends, and Partners".

Irene Kimaiyo ran with Sally Kipyego at Texas Tech. She is also a steeplechaser.
