G 4x800 Final 01 4A 2008 Maryland State (MPSSAA) Track and Field Championships

What Roosevelt did in the state meet, is one of the reason that they are indeed a great team. Yes, they won relays events, but what impress me more , was the way in which they did it, and fact the stronger runner were willing to run harder on their legs to ensure that ever team mate received a 1st place metal. If you notice there were no records or fast times why, because it was not about the records or fast times it was about honoring every team mate with a metal for an outstanding job thru out the season. That is what I call a team.

I think Our team (Eleanor Roosevelt) did a wonderful job throughout the whole State meet.. and i just wanted to say thanks to my 4 by 8 rely team mates who help me win my first state meet..
