Great job Kayla! I am an old friend/teammate of your grandpa Bill and knew your mom when she was 2 or 3. It was great to see you run the hurdles after getting numerous emails from gramps. State record next year! I also enjoyed your mom's comments(hi Heather). Fred Leoni
Hi Fred!!! I would like to say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but she is way the heck faster than I ever was!!! lol

I just want to say Thank You for posting these videos! I am Kayla's mom and I almost did not make it to the race to see her break the meet record... her father and I have 3 other children and all play sports so I was trying to coordinate everyone (and of course all family members wanted to be at the track meet!).
Notice at the end of the video Kayla waves to someone..that was me and her youngest sister, Karlee, on the fence...we had barely made it! Couldn't find ANY parking and I was resigned to the fact that I was not going to see it and started praying and crying and then right in front of the gate someone pulled out! We pulled in and ran to the other side of the stadium to stand on the outside, but near the finish line. Karlee was on my shoulders so she could see and was yelling, "Kayla! Kayla!" And of course I got teary-eyed!!! We are so proud!!!
I have watched this video over and over..I was not able to see her on the turn (Karlee did). Thank you for allowing me, her greatest fan, to get the full experience!!!
Well done!!!
Thanks. It was a great run. I'm glad we could help you relive it.
