THE STRATEGY THAT ANDREW APPLIED WAS NOT TO HAVE ANYONE IN FRONT OF HIM TO IMPEDE HIS PERFORMANCE. IF HE LOST THE RACE, IT WOULD BE BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE HAD A BETTER KICK AT THE END. SOMEONE ALMOST DID!!! YOUR RIGHT HE DID GET BOXED IN MOST OF THE RACE, HOWEVER, ANDREW KNEW HE DID NOT HAVE THE BEST TIME AT REGIONALS SO HE HAD TO FORMULATE A GAME PLAN. KNOWING THAT, THE COMPETITOR IN HIM DID NOT WANT TO END UP IN LAST PLACE, AS HE HAD BEEN THE FIRST 400 METERS OF THE RACE. THAT IS WHY I SAID THAT I WAS LAUGHING THE LAST 200 METERS, KNOWING A LITTLE BIT OF THE YOUNG MAN, THE STRATEGY,THE SECOND PLACE FINISHERS STRONG KICK AND DETERMINATION. IT WAS IN NO WAY MOCKING THE OUTCOME OF THE RACE.

yeah you know i just read the comment by fan but the second place runner would have caught him had he not been blocked most of the race....that race should have been about six feet longer and sam would have been first

congratulations, andrew that was an excellent race. took a lot of guts to take a chance like that and just lay it all on the line. It paid off for you. As a spectator it was fun watching the race as it unfolded. Could not help but keep laughing as the second place finisher kept gaining but not quite passing you. Thanks for a great show!!!!!!
