I'm very proud of both of the relays that qualified for Nationals. Each and every one of the West runners ran their best on that given day. The 3200m Relay qualified for this meet with a school record time. They finished 19th out of the very best teams in the nation. Way to go Ryan, Luke, Joe and Erik.
The 1600 SM Relay was the first group of male runners to earn All American status in school history. Nice job Jared, Bryant, Spenser, and Erik. You will all serve as inspirations to Wolverines to come.

Yeah...the 53.1 split was actually the leader at the handoff. Erik was 52.4, 1:20.6 and then 1:52.41 for his finish.

Awesome race by Waukesha (Walk-ish-aw) west...and Sowinski's split was really a 1:52.4 just an awesome race!
