Quincy Wilson, the 16-year-old high school track and field star from Potomac, Maryland, signed with William Morris Endeavor, an entertainment, sports and fashion agency that currently lists Olympic champion Sydney McLaughlin as a client. It was announced on Instagram by WME on April 30.

Wilson recently broke an indoor national record at 400 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor, clocking the first sub-46 performance for the distance since 2004 and earned a national title in 45.76 seconds. He followed weeks later with the No. 8 time in high school history outdoors for the 400 meter distance, punching down on an effort of 45.19 seconds at the Florida Relays

Wilson is a two-time national indoor champion and the owner of various freshman and sophomore class records.

"Thank you so much @wmesports for the opportunity to be represented by such a caring and family-oriented team. Looking forward to our relationship growing even stronger," Wilson wrote on Instagram.

Wilson is considered one of track and field's brightest young stars. He's coming off a performance at the Penn Relays where he clocked the fastest 400 meter relay split of all-time for a high school, producing a time of 44.37. He was named MileSplit Athlete of the Year after the indoor season.

William Morris Endeavor represents the biggest stars in the world of sports and entertainment, including Serena Williams, Joel Embiid and Novak Djokovic. The agency typically works with clients to build business through media, endorsement, content and other areas within the entertainment, sports and fashion space.
