Last year, the FloTrack squad made some bold predictions. Here were our super accurate and in no way fake responses on realizing our predictions didn't come true.

Gordon's 2015 Prediction:

The 2015 NCAA 1500m champ will make the U.S. team.
"You had one job! Now I'll forever look stupid to my friends and family!" -Gordon
"Sorry Gordon, I was simply holding out for 2016" -Chad Noelle

Lincoln's 2015 Prediction:

An American will medal at Worlds in every event from 800-10K men and women
"Damnit America! Why do you hate me?" -Lincoln
"I did my part Lincoln :-)" -Emily Infeld

James' 2015 Prediction:

Trayvon Bromell repeats as NCAA champ and goes pro
"I blame Canada" -James
"LOL" -Andre De Grasse
"Don't worry about it James, I still got paid!" -Trayvon Bromell

Meg's 2015 Prediction:

Coburn and Simpson win gold at Worlds
"I should've been there and tied Jenny's shoes tighter!" -Meg

We only made four predictions last year, but we secretly made another 12 predictions that totally came true. So, this year we are going to do a few more predictions for 2016. After all, the entire internet is doing it.

Gordon's Bold Predictions:

01) Nike Oregon ProjectÂ’s Eric Jenkins will make the U.S. Olympic team in the 5k
02) Usain Bolt (Puma) will not win the Olympic 100m
03) Drew Hunter will break 4:00 at the Penn Relays Olympic Development Mile
04) The first woman to not make the U.S. 800m final will have ran sub 2:00 in the semifinals

Meg's Bold Predictions:

05) Former Texas Longhorn, Kendall Baisden will make the U.S. Olympic team in the 400m
06) Brooks BeastsÂ’ Nick Symmonds will medal in the Olympic 800m
07) University of Oregon will put three women in NCAA 800m final (indoor or outdoor)
08) Sam Chelanga (Nike) will make the U.S. Olympic team in the marathon

Taylor's Bold Predictions:

09) The 200m/400m schedule will be changed, Allyson Felix (Nike) will only win one event
10) OregonÂ’s Edward Cheserek will lose an NCAA Championship race on the track
11) OregonÂ’s Raevyn Rogers will make the U.S. Olympic team in the 800m
12) Aries Merritt (Nike) will come back from kidney transplant surgery and medal in the Olympic 110m hurdles

Lincoln's Bold Predictions:

13) Seb Coe will resign as the IAAF president
14) Genzebe Dibaba will break four world records (1500/3k indoor and 1500/5k outdoor)
15) Christian Taylor will break the triple jump world record in Rio
16) The Cubs will win the World Series **crosses fingers**... Nobody said this was limited to track and field!
