Stephanie Bruce will make her return to the marathon this December at the California International Marathon in Sacramento.

The HOKA ONE ONE NAZ Elite and oiselle sponsored mom of two has not competed in a marathon since Boston in 2013 and holds a personal best of 2:29:35 set in Houston in 2011. 

Bruce, 32, watched CIM in person last year, where she and husband Ben coached several athletes aiming for Olympic Trials standards. 

"Something in my heart just clicked this summer and having been a spectator at CIM last year I pictured myself running through the streets of Folsom and into downtown Sacramento," Bruce said in an NAZ Elite release.


Bruce made an incredible comeback this spring by running a personal best in the 10K (32:14) at the Stanford Invite, only six months after giving birth to her second son. She finished 20th at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

Bruce will first race the USATF 10 Mile Championships on Sunday, October 9. CIM takes place on Sunday, December 4 in Sacramento, California.
