Kate Murphy is no longer listed on the Millrose Games entries, and Lake Braddock High School coach Mike Mangan confirmed that the star will not race this weekend in New York.

"Kate had a minor setback in training and not ready [to] race against pros," he said.

Murphy was last seen anchoring Lake Braddock to a new national high school record of 11:34.54 in the distance medley relay at the VA Showcase at Liberty University on Jan. 13. She split 4:37 for 1600m, but pulled out of a 1K race against Sammy Watson the next day.

She is expected to return to competition later this season. Murphy, a 4:07 1500m runner who competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials last summer, was to be the first high school girl to race the Wanamaker Mile since Alexa Efraimson in 2014. This year's race features two-time defending champion Shannon Rowbury, who could challenge the American record of 4:20.5, set in 1982 by Mary Slaney.

Murphy won the Millrose Games high school mile last year in a meet record time of 4:41.
