The London Marathon, the deepest and best world race in the world in 2017, will be live on FloTrack for Canadian viewers on Sunday, April 23. The fields are spectacular; the 2016 men's and women's winners at Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, and New York will be lining up in London next Sunday.

The top Canadian entered is Krista Duchene, whose 2:28:39 PR makes her the second fastest Canadian marathoner ever. The international fields are simply stunning. In the women's race, Mary Keitany is coming off a dominant win in New York, and Vivian Cheruiyot is debuting after breaking the 5K Olympic record in Rio. Those Kenyans are joined by Ethiopian Olympic bronze medalists Tirunesh Dibaba (10K) and Mare Dibaba (marathon). With Florence Kiplagat also in the race, at least four all-time greats will toe the line: Kiplagat and Keitany are two of the greatest road runners ever, and Dibaba and Cheruiyot are two of the best track athletes in history.

Laura Thweatt and Kellyn Taylor are the top Americans entered.

Kenenisa Bekele, who badly wants the marathon world record, highlights the men's race. His biggest challenge will be iconic protester and Olympic silver medalist Feyisa Lilesa.

The races begin at 4:20 (women) and 5:00 (men) AM U.S. Eastern time on Sunday, April 23. Fast times are a lock. Eliud Kipchoge's 2:03:05 last year missed the world record by eight seconds. Paula Radcliffe's 2:15:23 winning time in 2003 is still the world record, and Keitany's 2:18:37 in 2012 is the fastest ever by a non-Radcliffe woman.
