Your women's 1500m final was decided on Saturday at the IAAF World Championships in London. Defending champion Faith Kipyegon led the qualifiers ahead of Laura Muir, Sifan Hassan, and Caster Semenya. Unlike last year, the Americans weren't able to send most of their team to the final, as Jenny Simpson was the only Team USA member to qualify in her heat.

Sub-4 1500m performers Winny Chebet and Konstanze Klosterhalven along with Americans Sara Vaughn and Kate Grace were the biggest names to miss the final.
