Oct 10, 2021
On a too-warm and windy morning in Chicago, Kenya's Ruth Chepngetich and Ethiopia's Seifu Tura ran to victory at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the first in-person edition of an Abbott World Marathon Majors event to be held in the United States in nearly two years. Their winning times of 2:22:31 and 2:06:12 were solid, but not dazzling. Mid-race temperatures of 75F/24C accompanied by sometimes strong winds made fast running difficult. Both winners earned USD 55,000 in prize money.Jepkosgei, Lemma Take Virgin Money London Marathon Wins

The second-ever fall edition of the Virgin Money London Marathon today ended with victories for Kenya's Joyciline Jepkosgei and Ethiopia's Sisay Lemma, both first-time winners. Jepkosgei, who won the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon in her debut, controlled her effort carefully before dropping the field with a 4:56 24th mile to win in a personal best 2:17:43. Lemma also made a late-race surge just before 40 kilometers to win going away in 2:04:01.2021 Team USA List

Oct 12, 2020
For a year in which both the world indoor championships and the Olympic Games were postponed, 2020 has seen its fair share of world records. (Of course, one could argue that those events being postponed aided in world record achievement, particularly in the cases of Joshua Cheptegei and Letesenbet Gidey.) A season with so much history has begged a question: which among these world records is the best?Kitata Prevails As Kipchoge Falters, Kosgei Dominates In London
