2016 Throwback: Girl's 100m, Age 17-18 - KaTia Seymour Runs 11.59!

In a Big 3 race that featured headliners from Florida, Texas and North Carolina, it was KaTia Seymour who took charge in the final 50 meters to win an AAU Junior Olympic Games 100m title in the 17-18 girls division in 11.59 seconds in 2016.


North Carolina's Tamara Clark was second in 11.66 seconds, while Texas' Kaylor Harris was third in 11.76. Seymour, who went on to win two state titles in the 100m and 200m in her senior season, heads to Florida State University in the fall.
