Running DVD

Kansas State Distance Coach, Mike Smith and Colorado Middle Distance Coach, Jay Johnson worked this summer to create a Running DVD that does not have much running in it. Johnson and Smith did not want to re-invent the wheel and create a DVD about running philosophies because Jack Daniels and Arthur Lydiard have that covered. Johnson and Smith believe that a lot of runners lack strength that is needed to be a better runner. This is a preview of the DVD and a little about the coaches themselves. I asked Jay Johnson to give me a description of his DVD: "The exercises in this DVD are the simplest, easiest exercises that you can do to improve your running. Many of the exercises here are intended to prevent injury while others are intended to improve your general strength. In the next DVD we'll move towards exercises that develop power but in the mean time sit back, watch the videos and ask yourself, "How can I become a better runner?"" On the left hand side you can see a couple of the strength routines that will be on the DVD. If interested check out some of the routines and if you like them check out the website ( RunningDVDs.com) The Flotrack Community gets 20% off Use this code to get the discount - SCY9TWQM
