No hater comments, or I will flag u ALL.

At the end of the day, whether he's a good athlete or an ordinary person on a corner, he's a human being and no one in his right mind would wish something like this on his worst enemy. Life is precious and people make decisions often that we don't agree with. However, he's basically still a kid--furthermore, someone else's kid. Have a bit of empathy and compassion....as a human. Speedy recovery.

@ recover and sighI admit my comment wasn't necessary. That's completely true. Even so, there was no ill will present in that comment. In response to your interpretation, there of course is no ill will towards Lukas about that decision and there never was. I simply disagree. I mentioned my disagreement to highlight that his recovery is a more important matter. It was to encourage anyone who may have shared my disagreement to follow my example and put that aside to support a tremendous athlete in his time of need. Please keep the hater comments off of this site and especially on such an important and sensitive page.

To me it very much appears that you came on here to pick a fight. Furthermore, he stated that he DISAGREED with his decision, not that he disliked Lukas or that his injury was some form of comeuppance for switching to Tri. Please take the time and energy that you might use to further this argument and hand down ethical life lessons to reflect on your own life.You stated, "i don't get how that comment about disagreeing with his decision to do tri's is in any way relevant to verbicas getting injured." @ Recover, take it easy bro. He was just stating that he liked being able to watch lukas run. Take your aggressiveness elsewhere.Best wishes for Lukas in his recovery.

Although I am one that disagreed with his decision for triathlons instead of track & field, I second Dan's comment. Best wishes to Lukas and his family as he recovers.

I hope that I speak for the entire track community in saying that we hope for a full and healthy recovery for Lukas.
