Duane Solomon is going for the 600m World Record this weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays, but according to Solomon's social media accounts, he's not feeling too well. While Solomon reaches out to one of his little fans, he throws in there that he's battling some type of flu.

 

Warms my heart to know that something as small as a picture and signature can make a little boy so happy. Max has been writing me constantly for a picture and i finally got it to him. He is fighting the good fight, so keep him in your prayers. Keep on fighting little buddy, we wont let cancer defeat you. We know he's fit. The 800m specialist raced the much longer 1500m a few weeks ago.
