Here are eight interesting facts about the multi events for this 2016 indoor season:

1) 2015 NCAA Indoor Pentathlon Champion Kendell Williams of Georgia has a PB 228 points better than the next returner.

2) 2015 NCAA Indoor Heptathlon Champion Luca Wieland of Minnesota has a PB 2 points better than the next returner.

3) Xenia Rahn is the top women's returner behind Williams. She is now WilliamsÂ’ teammate after transferring to her third school in her collegiate career. (Memphis -> North Carolina -> Georgia)

4) WisconsinÂ’s Zach Ziemek redshirted in 2015 and is one of the six returners with a PB over 5,900 points. He competed for Team USA in the decathlon at the World Championships this summer in Beijing.

5) The top five female returners have a PB over 4,300 points.

6) Georgia (based on PBs) is projected to go 1-2 on the womenÂ’s side and 2-3 on the menÂ’s side for a total of 32 points.

7) Only two non-seniors are in the projected top five, both of which are projected first overall.
