Rome Pulls The Plug On 2024 Olympics, Only L.A., Paris, Budapest Remain
The International Olympic Committee won't decide the host city for the 2024 Olympic Games until the fall of 2017, but Rome is one step closer to officially withdrawing their bid.

Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi announced today that hosting would be "irresponsible" due to the Olympics not being "sustainable." She is expected to address a city assembly later today, but Rome's bid is looking good as gone.

With the Italian capital out, only Los Angeles, Paris and Budapest are left in the running to host the 2024 Olympics.
