The Oregon Ducks are breaking records.

At the 2017 Columbia East-West Challenge, the quartet of Lilli Burdon, Ashante Horsley, Raevyn Rogers and Katie Rainsberger ran a time of 10:48.77 in the distance medley relay, a full two seconds faster than the previous collegiate record of 10:50.98 set by Tennessee in 2009.

With a strong anchor leg by freshman Katie Rainsberger in a time of 4:30.92, the women of Oregon beat the second place Villanova Wildcats by almost 10 seconds.

Freshman from Australia Lilli Burdon split a 3:20.55 for 1200m, followed by a 53.76 for senior Ashante Horsley who handed off to NCAA 800m indoor and outdoor champion Raevyn Rogers who split 2:03.53.

The men of Oregon immediately followed up that performance at the Armory with a 9:30.85 in the distance medley relay victory as well, highlighted by a 3:54.5 anchor leg from none other than Edward Cheserek.
