In the past few weeks many of the NCAA's biggest stars have announced various contracts and sponsorships, but one champ we had yet to learn about was NCAA 10K champ Marc Scott. On his home soil at the London Diamond League earlier this morning, he may have answered our questions as he was spotted wearing a Bowerman Track Club singlet -- very likely the "Big Announcement" he hinted at in one of his earlier tweets:

If he indeed has joined BTC, he'll be united with a slew of high-quality 5K and 10K runners including Mo Ahmed, Chris Derrick, Lopez Lomong, and Woody Kincaid. Ahmed just won the Canadian 5K championships to book his ticket to London, and he'll be joined there by fellow BTC teammates Hill (who was third in the U.S. 5K) and Evan Jager (the reigning U.S. steeplechase champion and Olympic silver medalist).

Scott ran 7:43.37 in London for 12th place, a huge improvement from his old 7:58.52 PB. His next race will be a 5000m in Heusden to attempt the World Standard of 13:22.60. Scott's current 5K PB is 13:36.81, from Stanford in 2015.
