Fans can now contribute directly to middle distance runner Gabe Grunewald's fight against cancer via this fundraising page, created in conjunction with Athlete Biz.
The 31-year-old is currently battling adenoid cystic carcinoma, her fourth bout with cancer in eight years. She revealed last week that her body did not respond to chemotherapy and she and her husband, Justin, would be pursuing alternative methods of treatment at Sloan Kettering Memorial hospital in New York. She competed through treatment this outdoor track season, including the USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships in late June.

After her run at the USATF Championships in Sacramento, CA, her fellow competitors gathered around her for a group hug and a prayer. Grunewald talked to the media after the heartfelt moment:
