Amid a star-making year, Niwot sophomore Addy Ritzenhein signed a Name, Image and Likeness deal with On on Thursday, marking the company's first signing of a high school standout.

Ritzenhein, the daughter of On Athletics Club coach Dathan Ritzenhein, has broken through as one of country's brightest talents, in December winning a coveted national cross country title at Nike Cross Nationals. 

That followed a nearly flawless high school season that saw Ritzenhein secure seven wins, including the eighth-fastest 5K performance in the country, a time of 16:44.90 that came in September at the Desert Twilight Invitational. 

Ritzenhein has followed in 2024 with a series of exceptional performances. In March, she finished third in the two mile run at New Balance Nationals Indoor in 9:52.64, a performance that ranks 11th all-time for a high school girl and third-best in the sophomore class in history. 

The next month, at the Arcadia Invitational in California, she posted a mile best of 4:42.56, which stands as a U.S. No. 2 time.
