Boys HS Team Rankings - Week 5
CBA's historic win, Arcadia at Clovis, and North Central at Richland
Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) rolled again this weekend to retain their perch atop the rankings and add to their legend, by winning with 90 points and a course record 12:44.34 team average. Adding their name to the top-10 national discussion was Fayetteville-Manlius (NY), who now sit at #7. The Fay-Man squad finished 2nd with 114 points and a fast 12:47.66 team average.
US#2 Arcadia (CA) had a battle out in California at the Clovis Invitational, but wound up with the win with 80 points. Madera South (CA) finished second with 95 points and is now US#9.
US#14 North Central (WA) grabbed a great win at the Richland Invitational, but Nathan Hale (WA) put up some amazing times to finish second by a score of 69 to 96 to snag the #19 ranking this week.
As the season rolls along we will surely see other teams rise up in a bid to become one of the nation's best.
